Alfold is a village and civil parish in Surrey, England on the West Sussex border.
Alfold is a dispersed or polyfocal village located just beyond the green belt and Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
The Greensand Way runs north of the village along the Greensand Ridge and two named localities exist to the north and south of the historic village centre which features pubs, a set of stocks and a whipping post. Dunsfold Aerodrome is located to the north of the parish, with Alfold Bars located at the southern end.
The village has a historic core located around St. Nicholas’ Church and within a Conservation Area. The village also has a thriving sports club located at Alfold Crossways, where stoolball, football and tennis are all regularly enjoyed. Alfold’s Sports and Social Club are also located here, beside the village hall (which is available for bookings) and the main village playpark.
