Alfold Parish Council has a Full Council meeting each month, a Planning Committee meeting each month and a Finance Committee bi-annually. All agendas can be found in the agendas tab, sub divided by year and committee/full council title.
All meeting dates are available on the website calendar, and dates for the following parish council year are ordinarily set in February/March and agreed by Full Council before the parish year restarts at the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council in May, where the parish council elects the Chairman for the parish year, sets committee membership and agreed the key policies going forward.
All are welcome to each meeting of the parish council. Any s.100 of the Local Government Act 1972 exclusions for confidential items will be notified to residents on the relevant agenda and public and press will not be entitled to be present whilst the parish council discusses any such business.
The Annual Parish Assembly is also held annually, and must occur between March and June annually. This gives residents a chance to see what Alfold has to offer in terms of activities, clubs and what has happened throughout the course of the year. Refreshments are served at this meeting for residents.
