Dear all,
Please see the attached Notice of Referendum for Alfold’s Neighbourhood Plan which is being held on 7th December 2023 in Alfold Village Hall. The vote will be a simple ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ – you are willing to vote in favour of the Neighbourhood Plan or against.
The Neighbourhood Plan is available on Alfold Parish Council’s website. It is a comprehensive document which highlights the areas of the village, characteristics which we would like to protect, and our future plans for the village. Please do read it, it has been designed with the future of the village in mind, and how we want the village to develop in terms of heritage, dark skies, and other such issues.
If anyone has any questions, please address them to me as Clerk and I will be very happy to answer them. Alfold Parish Council are encouraging all residents to come out and vote on the day, the polling station will be open from 7am to 10pm to allow all residents time to come in and vote.
Thanks, Julie
